Metro 417, is the Historical Subway Terminal Building, is located near 
the legendary Biltmore hotel in the heart of Los Angeles' Historic Core. 
Metro 417 offers 277 boutique rental residences. Florentine inspired 
architecture, rich historical elements, ski-lit coffered ceiling, marble 
floors and columns, mosaic tile and carved woodwork tell a story of
timeless excellence.

History
Metro 417 formerly the historic Subway Terminal Building was built in
1925. The structure, with over 500,000 squre feet, was built by the Pacific
Electric Railroad as the transportation hub for the City of Los Angeles.
The ground floor and two subterranean floors housed the historic "Red Car"
Subway Station until 1956 when the Los Angeles Red Cars system was
permanently shut down. The upper floors provided over 300,000 square
feet of offices.
